Hi All!
So excited that we're back on the air! And even more excited that so many are already listening! It's so cool to get to spend this special season with Christmas music fans all over the world!
So far, we have listeners in 46 states, Washington DC and in 40 other countries!
I wasn't sure if I was going to post a top ten just yet, since we're still loading so much music. But I've already gotten a few emails about it, so even though we only have our first thousand or so songs loaded (just over 1100, actually), here's our first Top Ten of 2011.
If you want to help and rate the music we play, you actually have to go through Live 365, which you can get to by going here --> http://www.live365.com/stations/soundsofchristmas
I also wanted to mention that whether you listen through our website here or over at Live 365, you don't have to stay on the page. If you click on the little double box in the upper right hand corner, the player will pop out, so you can go wherever you want on the web and still listen to the Sounds of Christmas!
So with all that said, here's our first Top Ten of the Season...
1) Newsboys “Winter Wonderland”
2) Mulberry Lane “Happy Holidays” (Live)
3) They Might Be Giants “Santa Claus”
4) NRBQ “Christmas Wish”
5) Louis Armstrong “Zat You Santa Claus”
6) Jack Sheldon “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas”
7) Elvis Presley “If Every Day Was Like Christmas”
8) B.B. King “Christmas Love”
9) Waitresses “Christmas Wrapping”
10) Vanessa Peters “The Christmas We Hoped For”
11) Stephen Colbert “Another Christmas Song”
12) Otis Redding “Merry Christmas Baby”
13) Mannheim Steamroller “Little Drummer Boy”
14) Lisa Kessler “Christmas Vacation”
15) John Lennon “Happy Xmas”
16) Frank Sinatra “Christmas Memories”
17) Dreams So Real “Red Lights (Merry Christmas)”
18) Pretenders “2000 Miles (Live)”
19) Stylistics “When You’ve Got Love It’s Christmas All Year Long”
20) Richard Kincaid “Magic Holiday”
Yes, I know there are twenty. Since we play so much more Christmas music than anyone else, I just thought our Top Ten list should be bigger, too!
Thanks so much for listening! And May You Always Believe In Santa Claus!
Ken
