_Hi All!

Merry Christmas!  I'm getting ready to head out into the throng one more time for a final round of shopping, before Lisa and I retire to separate parts of the house to watch "A Christmas Story" and wrap until dawn (hopefully only til about midnight, but you never know)!

Thanks so much for spending part of your holiday with the Sounds of Christmas!  Even though it's Christmas Eve, I'm still adding new music to the station, including new Christmas tracks from Percy Sledge, Steve Miller, Sarah McLachlan and Smashing Pumpkins!

There's an all-new top ten this week, and since we're now in the middle of Chanukah, I've also added a second top ten of our highest rated Chanukah songs from the past week!

By the way, if you want to help and rate the music we play, it's not too late!  You just have to listen through Live 365, which you can get to by going here --> http://www.live365.com/stations/soundsofchristmas

I also wanted to mention that if you listen through our website, you don't have to stay on the page.  If you click on the little double box in the upper right hand corner, the player will pop out, so you can go wherever you want on the web and still listen to the Sounds of Christmas!

So with all that said, here's this week's Top Ten...

1) Trans-Siberian Orchestra "A Mad Russian's Christmas”

2)  Bing Crosby "Good King Wenceslas”

3)  Stevie Wonder "What Christmas Means To Me”

4)  Hipwaders "Yes It's Christmas”

5)  Huey Piano Smith and the Clowns "White Christmas Blues”

6)  David Bowie and Bing Crosby "Peace On Earth/Little Drummer Boy”

7)  Honeymoon Suite "I Believe In Father Christmas"

8) Harry Connick Jr. "Parade of Wooden Soldiers”

9)  Katharine McPhee "Christmas Is The Time”

10)  Percy Sledge "My Christmas Wish For You”

11)  Brian Setzer Orcherstra "(Everybody's Waitin' For) The Man With The Bag”

12)  REO Speedwagon "Deck The Halls"

13) The Pretenders "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas"

14) Lisa Kessler "Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer”

15)  Eagles "Please Come Home For Christmas" (Live)

16)  Tommy James "The Christmas Song”

17)  Yule Logs "North Pole 45789”

18)  Dave Davies "Father Christmas" (Live)

19) Beatles "Another Beatles Christmas Record 1964”

20)  Barry Manilow "(There's No Place Like) Home For The Holidays"

21) Wilson Phillips "Christmastime"

22) Yule Logs "North Pole 45789"

23) John and Yoko "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)"

24) Roy Holliday "Christmas Time On The Beach"

25) Mulberry Lane "Christmas In The Car"

Yes, I know there are twenty-five.  Since we play so much more Christmas music than anyone else, I just thought our Top Ten list should be bigger, too!

And here are the top 10 Chanukah songs from this past week...

1)  Shlomones "Rocky Hora Chanukah Song"

2)  Adam Sanlder "Chanukah Song Part II"

3)  LeeVees "How Do You Spell Channukkahh?"

4)  Barenaked Ladies "Hanukkah Blessings"

5)  Neil Diamond "The Chanukah Song"

6)  Barenaked Ladies "Dreidel Dreidel Dreidel"

7)  Adam Sandler "Chanukah Song"

8)  American Comedy Network "My Menorah"

9)  Tom Lehrer "I'm Spending Chanukah In Santa Monica"

10)  Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert  "Can I Interest You In Hannukah?"

Thanks so much for listening!  I hope you, your family and your friends all have a wonderful Christmas!  And May You Always Believe In Santa Claus!
