Hi All!
It's so hard to believe that it's already the Twelfth Day of Christmas, and the season is coming to close. Thanks so much for spending some of your holiday with us! We're still crunching numbers here, but it looks like we did crack the five million listener mark this year, which seems appropriate for this, our fifth anniversary!
We'll be putting together a big, end-of-the-season top hundred list, but that won't be ready for a few more days. In the meantime, here's the last top ten for Christmas 2011...
1) Sheryl Crow "The Christmas Song”
2) REO Speedwagon "Deck The Halls”
3) The Beatles "The Beatles Christmas Record 1963”
4) Dean Martin "A Marshmallow World”
5) NRBQ "Christmas Wish”
6) David Bowie and Bing Crosby "Peace On Earth/Little Drummer Boy"
7) Stevie Wonder "What Christmas Means To Me"
8) John Mellencamp "Teddi's Song”
9) Glasvegas "A Snowflake Fell (And It Felt Like A Kiss)”
10) Marshall Crenshaw "Santa Bring My Baby Back”
11) Mulberry Lane "Christmas In The Car”
12) Tina Lambert "Gabriel's Message"
13) Yule Logs "Northpole 45789"
14) Brian Wilson "Christmasey”
15) Chris Rea "Driving Home For Christmas"
16) John and Yoko "Happy Xmas”
17) General Johnson and the Chairmen of the Board "I'll Be Home For Christmas”
18) Katharine McPhee "Silver Bells"
19) Lisa Kessler "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer"
20) Wilson Phillips "Christmastime"
21) Ringo Starr "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer"
22) U2 "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)"
23) Tim Zimmerman and the King's Brass "Go Tell It On The Mountain"
24) Harry Connick Jr. "What A Night"
25) Bob Rivers "Toy Sack"
Yes, as usual, there are twenty-five. Since we play so much more Christmas music than anyone else, I just thought our Top Ten list should be bigger, too!
Thanks again for listening! I hope you, your family and your friends all have a very happy and safe New Year! And May You Always Believe In Santa Claus!
Ken
